Turtle's Farm and Forest Camp is a year-round, drop-off, nature connection program in Westminster, MD, meeting on Tuesdays from 10-4pm.
We provide the space and opportunity for children 7-14 to learn about the natural world through play, work, art, music, and story telling.

Outdoor play fosters a deep relationship with nature, and that connection encourages the next generation to take care of our beautiful planet! By being outside, surrounded by nature, children experience a dynamic and free-flowing environment that stimulates a deeper awareness of themselves as part of nature- not separate- and enhances connections with all life.
Who is Turtle?
Taylor Logsdon, aka Turtle, is a gardener, nature-lover, musician and educator. He is passionate about helping children develop a strong connection with nature, and has been teaching farm and forest programs at a variety of homeschool co-ops for the past 4 years. A lover of farming, he has been around the world working on organic farms, running market gardens and managing CSAs. Along with sharing nature with children, Taylor runs an edible landscaping company. He lives with his wife and three daughters behind Ancient Oaks Farm.
Ancient Oaks Farm
Turtle's Farm and Forest Camp is held at Ancient Oaks Farm- a beautiful 28 acre organic farm with two streams, three highland cows, two horses a greenhouse, children's garden, meadows and mature woods.
